People and their names
Her title was 'her ex'
But it has become 'our lover'
Strange name my partner has given to those lips
She started it all, myself and 'Ex' didn't have a clue
Until
It was done, fumbling bodies and moans
Filled the apartment until there was nothing else

delicately placed in both regards
identical in description to the three before
but ten letters that should have
yet didn't happen,
a closeness I wished I'd felt
Maybe then this note would not be
my last precious thing from you,
my only precious thing from you
